Whether it’s called malignant, non-malignant, or benign, each brain tumor in the United States is counted by CBTRUS. We’ve been keeping track of brain tumors since our first CBTRUS Report in 1996, and our data is a critical resource for everyone searching for cures around the world. This work is important: we estimate 87,240 new cases in the US in 2020 alone, 3,540 of which will be of children aged 0-14.
We encourage everyone to support the many brain tumor activities taking place this month. Our first responders, researchers, patients, and brain tumor organizations need our support. Go Grey in May!
