The Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO)

As of January 1, 2025, the Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO) and the Central Brain Tumor Registry of the United States (CBTRUS) entered a formal strategic affiliation designed to enhance both organizations’ efforts in brain tumor research, education, and collaboration. This affiliation will foster an integrated strategy to improve efficiency, amplify shared resources, and further solidify CBTRUS as the premier resource for annual histology specific statistical information for all primary brain and other CNS tumors in the United States.

The Society for Neuro-Oncology exists to advance multi-disciplinary brain tumor research, education, and collaboration to drive discovery and improve patient care.
